Tuesday morning greetings...

it is windy, sunny with light fluffy clouds - the trade wind breezes are so refreshing. The coconut palms are swaying in the breeze - watch out for flying coconuts.

The trenches in our yard are not full at the present time...we have not had rain for a few days. When we do it will come in torrents and fill them to the brim.

Our house partner and caretaker of the church, Mr. Boyle is a very friendly man of 83 years. He looks after us, as we do him. He sure makes good fried Bake Buns - a cure-all for all that bad cholestral?!

We do not know where Tigger is??? he has just disappeared! - since Saturday. We do have many birds...these cute lil nesting (in corner by balcony) wrens keep us entertained with their sweet songs. Kiskadee's - this a Greater Kiskadee

Blue Soki (sp?) of the tanager family - we can't find in our bird book "Birds of Venezuela". You'd love the photos you could get here Anita.

We also have the hunters that like to go in through these walls of the church

and crowers outside our BD window - 5 a.m call for...

and then this morning out front gate,

'the Flouncers' begging to be hit by this car

or is it just BEGGING?!

Apologies in order on Wednesday... the Stabroek News: www.stabroeknews.com front page says they are Masqueraders - they rec'd donations of $1.2M for the development of the art of masquerade for Mashramani and beyond.
